Rigid Quik Installation Instructions

1. A hanger shall be required on each side of the coupling on all horizontal runs located within 18 in. of the center of the coupling
2. The clamp assembly shall be torqued to a minimum of 60 inch pounds
3. Couplings shall not be installed in fire rated construction that restricts the use of flammable materials through penetrations or plenums without additional fire-resistive protection.
4. Couplings shall be installed in locations where the expected temperatures are between 0- 130 degrees F.
