Aaron Loosli wins McWane Ductile photo contest

McWane Ductile holds a photo contest every year in which the outside sales force can win prizes by submitting photos of pipeline jobs in the field.  This is a great way for them to collect photos from the field that can be used in presentations, publications, literature, advertising and websites.  There are three different categories – ductile iron installations, substitute material failures, and special categories. 

Three winners are chosen from each category and then an overall winner is selected from that group of photos.  McWane Ductile Utah’s Aaron Loosli was the overall winner last year with a photo of a jobsite in Longmont, Colorado that experienced a 500 year flood in September of 2013.  There was a gravity feed PVC sewer line that went over a small river that was washed out in the flood and the city decided to replace it with a 24” TR Flex epoxy line.  They installed it on caissons and primer coated the exterior.
