Clow Valve named AFS 2021 Safety & Insight Winner

Congratulations to Clow Valve for being named a 2021 Safety & Insight Winner by the American Foundry Society during its recent national EHS Conference. The award recognizes the efforts of finishing operators from the Okaloosa, Iowa, facility who took a proactive approach to eliminating potential hazards and improving the overall work environment of the Iron Castings Finishing department, including reducing potential pinch points, eliminating a recognized trip hazard, improving overall ergonomics and providing for enhanced dust collection, thereby improving ventilation. Project manager, Ryan Hyncik, and the Clow Valve finishing operators are to be commended for their innovative approach and commitment to ensuring the safety of their fellow team members.
